I love this book and I love Franky! She writes this in a way that few authors are able to. I could envision everything she wrote as if it were a movie. Hearing of her picturesque childhood made me so happy. There is also a lot of American history that Her and her family experienced first hand through important decades that you usually only hear about in the movies. I developed such love and respect for her father. She tells the truth, keeps it real, and successfully protects her fathers name. God bless!!
Great read from the perspective of the person who knew Harry Aleman, like no one else; his daughter. It clearly shows her honesty in telling how this impacted her emotionally and her marriages. It is compelling from start to finish. The public sees one side of a person but Franky Forliano makes it clear the other side, the love and protection he gave to her and her family. The reader will find the trial he was acquitted for and then re-tried and found guilty an interesting read. It left me wanting to know more and hopefully to see this book made into a movie. There is clearly an untold story here that needed to be told.

Franky Mustari Forliano I absolutely fell in love with your book. I cried so hard at the end, I felt I was living with you and your family. I have so much respect for you. I really wish I got to meet your family especially your dad. He was such a gentleman who cared deeply for his family and would do anything in the world for you all. I'm appalled by the crooked government and how they tried to make your father look like a monster when in fact he was a loving, caring, giving, devoted, honest, trustworthy family man. Finally nobody else can hurt Harry anymore. I'm so honored to have gotten to read your book and have been waiting for it for years. It was well worth the wait. I love you so much. Everyone needs to read your book and get the truth across. You have taught me to walk proud, honor, respect, and to keep moving forward while staying positive. I know your dad taught you everything you know with class and respect, and for that I'm so grateful to have you in my life and have passed along to me. I feel like I got to know your family more and have a full understanding of how the government and others tried taking Harry down. He did what he had to do with class while being innocent.
I could not put this book down. My heart goes out to the author and her family. So sad her father was incarcerated and happy Franky Forliano was able to share this experience.
This is an outstanding book, a great read and an important look into a perspective from a daughters love. Franky Forliano is a brave woman whose journey is one for the history books!
